Insight · customer journey

Visible is a start.
Chosen is the goal.

Five communication gaps that can stop attention becoming a useful conversation.

1. Your offer is difficult to understand

A visitor should be able to recognise what you offer, who it is for and how to take the next step. Attractive wording can still leave those questions unanswered.

Try this

Open your profile and homepage as if you were a new customer. Write down the answer to each of those three questions. If you cannot find one, rewrite that part first.

2. Your content points in too many directions

When every post introduces a different message, it becomes harder to recognise what your business stands for. Consistency means returning to a useful idea with different examples.

Try this

Choose three core ideas linked to customer needs. Map your next six posts to those ideas and give each post a purpose.

3. Your design has no clear job

A well-designed page can build confidence, but appearance cannot explain an unclear offer or replace evidence. Visual choices should help people understand and decide.

Try this

Check one page for a clear hierarchy: offer, relevance, evidence and next step. Remove anything that competes with that sequence.

4. Attention reaches a dead end

A person may find your content useful without knowing what to do next. Different content can invite different actions: explore a guide, compare an offer or start a conversation.

Try this

Choose one primary action for each important page. Check the label, destination and what happens after the click.

5. The experience breaks between channels

Your customer experiences one business, even when your tools and channels are separate. A promise in a post can lose credibility if the linked page or first reply tells a different story.

Try this

Walk through a real route: post, link, page, form or WhatsApp, then response. Look for unclear messages, broken links, missing information and delays.

Measure the movement that matters.

Look beyond views. Track relevant enquiries, response quality and the next steps people actually complete. Weak conversion can also involve price, demand, offer fit or technical problems, so treat this checklist as a starting point, not a complete diagnosis.
